AvtoVAZ says sales rise by 4.7% to 23,437 cars in February

MOSCOW, Mar 2 (PRIME) – The sales of Russia’s largest carmaker AvtoVAZ increased by 4.7% on the year and by 34.2% on the month to 23,437 cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs) in February, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

Sales of Lada Granta cars jumped by 161.4% on the year to 16,257 units in February, while Lada Niva sales soared by 83.5% to 2,774 vehicles, and Niva Travel sales surged by 64.7% to 3,858 cars, the company said.
